Trick question

So my girlfriend asks if she's my friend. This siren starts going off in the back of my head. This is definitely a trick. If I say yes, then the following question shall be "what, so you see me as just a friend then??" Okay, that line of conversation seems fraught with difficulty. I answer "well I don't quite see you as a friend."

Wrong answer. "What, so you don't like me?" and proceeds to be offended for ten minutes. Women!
