Peacocks

These things are really cool. Went to Harcourt Arboretum, and was privileged to have a peacock give us a private display. He fanned his tail into a forest of lovely eyes, and then do a waggle-dance, and vibrated his whole fan until it shimmered. I'm not sure if he was just showing off, was trying to attract us, or was just practising.

Then I had a large macaw climb on me, and knowing how ill-tempered birds can be, I was feeling quite nervous as to whether I would get mutilated.

Finished the day in Maxwells where we were dancing to hip-hop until 2am.

In other news, I have got the world's coolest clock-radio. This thing connects directly to the internet via wi-fi and you can select pretty well any internet radio station to listen to.
