Too many people

There are too many people in the world. While the Catholic church would like people to carry on procreating until every last natural resource is destroyed, I think it is much better to control the population, and aim for the population to (maybe) half to a sustainable level. We can't just keep expanding and chopping down/concreting over nature. Better to have a smaller number of people living in comfort than have 90% of the population living in poverty and misery.
