New gadget!

I am now the proud owner of a Casio Pro-Trek watch. There's nothing I like better than waiting for a parcel to arrive, especially when it's something really exciting like a new laptop computer. When it's late, it just prolongs the agony. But that said, I'm always fairly choosy about which gadgets I buy.

Anyhow this Pro-Trek has a built-in compass, altimeter, thermometer and barometer with history so you can watch trends in the weather. You can watch your altitude change as you walk up stairs. All kind-of useless (except the compass which you only need when the GPS conks under tree cover). But if it was useful, then it wouldn't be a gadget, would it?
